【High-Grade Authentic Iai Sword】Iai Practice Sword, Double-Tempered Hardened Blade, Genuine Sharkskin, Hexagonal Iron Tsuba

Thank you for viewing.

This is a practice sword for iaido. It is not a real sword.

The sword stand is for photography purposes and is not included.

There are minor scuffs on the saya, but they are not noticeable. The construction is solid, so it can be used without issue for iaido practice and performances. The tsuba is also thick and has some weight, making it good for training through suburi (swinging practice) and kata. This is a beautiful sword with a double-edged hamon and a Wakasa vermilion lacquered saya.

Blade: Special hard alloy iaido construction, no groove, wavy double-edged hamon
Tsuka: Wooden, genuine samegawa (rayskin), pure brown cotton tsuka-ito twisted wrap
Fuchi-Kashira: Bamboo leaf design, Menuki: Camellia
Tsuba: Hexagonal iron tsuba
Saya: Wakasa vermilion lacquer, pure red cotton tsuka-ito tightly wrapped, red sageo

Overall length: 104 cm, Blade length: 70 cm (excluding habaki)
Tsuka length: 25 cm, Weight (without saya): 960g, Sori (curvature): 1.8 cm
Accessories: High-quality sword bag (new and unused)
