Vintage WM Rogers Presidential Spoon Series‎ Lot of 7 US History Silverplate

Vintage set of six silver-plated commemorative spoons by Wm. Rogers Mfg. Co. (International Silver). This collection features detailed relief portraits of U.S. Presidents and historical figures on the handles, including John Adams, Martin Van Buren, William Henry Harrison, Zachary Taylor, Millard Fillmore, and John Marshall. Each spoon bowl is intricately etched with a significant historical scene or achievement related to the figure, such as the Battle of Buena Vista, the Gold Rush, and the first telegram. These spoons showcase a classic patriotic aesthetic with a decorative eagle and shield motif on the reverse of the handles. Heavy patina is present, consistent with age, which can be polished or left for a vintage look. WM ROGERS MFG CO IS The IS stands for International Silver, which acquired many Rogers lines and used that mark through the early–mid 20th century. That lines up perfectly with the 1930–1950 production window.
