This is a replica Selmer tweed case for a Höfner bass, made by Nerima With, a Beatles instrument specialty store that no longer has a physical location. Made in 2006. The shape, exterior covering, green interior, and Banzai clasps were all copied as closely as possible to the original at the time in Japan. It originally cost 50,000 yen, but I bought it without hesitation. I lacquered it immediately after purchase to achieve a vintage patina, and it has now aged to a beautiful color. It has been used for a long time, so there are scratches and darkening, but I am offering it to someone who can appreciate these as character. It is perfectly functional and comes with the key. The original, somewhat unstylish tweed case was 38,500 yen. I believe this is a great deal.
