【Kojima Rizō】Rare Golden Thread Hōhata-gumo Kyōhin'nin Iromuji Lined Kimono (Signed)
Made by Dye Master Toshizo Kojima
This solid color kimono has a gentle atmosphere with a color between ivory and beige.
Its bright color allows for a clean and refined look.
Golden thread is spun from cocoons of extremely rare silkworms, meticulously raised with painstaking effort by silkworm farmers over an immeasurable amount of time, eventually yielding thread with a golden sheen.
Toyohata-gumo, considered one of the most beautiful cloud expressions in the Manyoshu, refers to clouds that hang in the sky as if banners are fluttering.
The subtle texture, created by the golden cocoon thread, depicts the emotion of flowing clouds with every movement, shimmering with your posture.
This piece will showcase a high-fashion look depending on the obi you pair it with.
