Depending on how the kimono is tied, the layered collar can be adjusted to show only the black part, or the gold and black patterned fabric.

This is a custom-made tassel, not something you'll find in ready-made items.
It can also be changed to a white or red tassel.

It's unique, cute, and cool – you won't be wearing the same thing as anyone else.

The furisode fabric is pure silk, a very sturdy Tango chirimen crepe, with a deep red color unique to silk.

The base pattern is a subdued red with a geometric saya-gata pattern, brighter than an crimson color.

Unlike synthetic or cotton prints, the color and pattern are completely different.

The color is lovely, reminiscent of deep red roses.

The fabric has been carefully cut so that the pattern looks beautiful when worn.

The hakoseko is made with a sturdy construction, using thick paper covered with cotton.

This set, including the kaiken and hakoseko, would be a wonderful addition to a furisode for Coming of Age ceremonies, or even for a wedding reception when paired with a mother's furisode.
