VTG Handmade Colorful Scrappy Memory Lap Blanket Crib Tied Quilt Granny Cottage

This vintage, handmade colorful scrappy quilt utilizes nine-patch or around the world design pattern using leftover scraps or flour sacks with crisp folded triangular edging often called prairie points. Similar quilts from this design are made from the 30's to the 70's & are often hand stitched. This quilt features lots of pastel colors including aqua greens, peaches, corals, whites, light blues & the back is finished in a small black & white gingham fabric. Prints on the front include florals, MCM designs, plaids, polka dots, stripes, and solids. Hand sewn in areas if not all of it. Hand tied. Preloved vintage item with no specific defects found but has been well used or the fabric was well used before it was sewn. The fabric is thin. But the memories are there. No specific defects found.
