New, unused Nagoya obi with Sagara embroidery

This is a pale, light pink Nagoya obi that I received from an acquaintance who loves kimonos.

The obi features a pattern created with Sagara embroidery over silver leaf on the otaiko (drum knot) and front pattern sections. The gradation is beautiful and the obi is very elegant.

As it is unused with basting threads still attached, please excuse the photos of the front pattern section which may appear as if you are peering closely. Also, in the first photo, the tail end appears pink, but it is actually silver leaf.

I wanted this obi because I didn't own any Sagara embroidered obis or kimonos, and I feel that light-colored obis like this are very versatile and useful to have multiples of, which is why I received it.

However, I feel the color is too youthful for me, and although I am hesitant, it is a brand new item, so I would like to offer it to someone who desires it.

Compared to other Nagoya obis I own, this one is lighter, so I believe it can be used even in early spring when the weather can be a concern due to heat.

It is a very versatile obi that can be worn to tea ceremonies, outings, and even with a tsukesage (a type of kimono) due to the silver leaf. Although I have not been able to inspect the entire obi due to the basting threads, from what I can see, it appears to be in beautiful condition with no stains or discoloration.

I am listing it, but I am also conflicted about whether I want to use it myself or keep it, so there is a possibility that I may suddenly withdraw the listing. I hope you can understand this sentiment of a kimono enthusiast.
