MCM vintage Modernist Farmhouse Turned Dark Walnut Wood Candle Holders set of 2
Hand Crafted
20.00 $
Description
This is a pair of beautiful hand-turned vintage wooden candlesticks that I found at an estate auction. They feature a classic modernist baluster shape with elegantly stepped round bases. They are made from solid hardwood with a rich, walnut stain, have a brass band around the candle opening, brown felt covering the bottoms, and have a varnished finish. The older gentleman had been an accomplished wood worker for many years, and these show the quality & care he put into everything that he made. They show very little wear & there is no waxy residue inside the holders so I'm not sure that they were ever used except for display. They are perfect accent pieces for MCM, bohemian, or rustic farmhouse decor. Measurements: 5.5 H x 3 D
