Blackthroat Seaperch Rig, 5 Hooks
UV Reactive Fluorescent Light Green & UV Reactive Fluorescent Purple Combo Flashers
Hotaru Hooks, Size 16, Red

This is a 5-hook rig for blackthroat seaperch featuring UV-reactive, fluorescent, two-tone flashers.
Unlike humans, dogs and cats can see UV light, and fish can see it underwater just the same.
Many fish can also distinguish colors.
These UV-reactive, fluorescent flashers glow under UV light.
The thread used to attach the flashers is also UV-reactive fluorescent.
Please refer to the black light image.

The two-color combo flashers mimic small fish and glow underwater with fluorescence to attract fish.
They go beyond the realm of simple flashers and appeal to fish with a lure-like sensation, continuing to attract them even if the bait is taken.
The hooks are Hotaru hooks, size 16, which are difficult to unhook once caught, and are red to be less conspicuous.

The rig design has undergone repeated prototyping to efficiently reach the blackthroat seaperch's depth. The distance between leaders is narrow at 1.2m, and the leader lines are 1m long, designed to be longer to improve biting.
The leader lines are made of 5-gauge fluorocarbon, ensuring consistent biting from blackthroat seaperch.
The strength is sufficient even for the largest blackthroat seaperch over 2kg, provided the drag is adjusted correctly.
