The author, Autumn Carpenter, is a nationally known sugar artist and respected professional in the field. The book was praised by Library Journal as an unusually comprehensive, photo-driven guide, taking you from the basics through finished cake designs. It includes a huge number of photos, so you can clearly see how each technique looks step by step. The book is in very gently used condition. I originally purchased it pre-owned, so there is a used-book sticker on the back cover. Before listing it, I personally went through most the pages to check the condition.
