Taiko Drumsticks for Large Taiko Drums, Hinoki Wood

Thank you for looking.
These are drumsticks for Japanese drums (taiko).
Material: Cypress
Size: Length 60 cm (We can shorten them for you.)
Thickness: 40 mm (As you can see in the photos, they are slightly thicker than 40 mm.)

They are thick and long.
We believe they are ideal for striking large drums (odaiko) or flat-bodied drums (heido).
We have made them longer than typical odaiko drumsticks, so we can adjust them to your preferred length. (Alternatively, you may purchase them as-is and adjust them to your desired length yourself.)
Since the material is cypress, if you strike the rim, the drumstick will dent. Please consider this as a way to prevent damage or dents to the drum itself. If the drumstick is harder, the drum will dent.
We will do our best to provide drumsticks with similar weights (within a 1-3 gram difference).

We also have several other types of drumsticks listed.
If you purchase multiple items, either the same type or different types together, you will receive a slight discount on shipping costs.
We hope you will consider them.
