(AA-05) Electric Reel Battery Case for Makita 14.4v

This is a waterproof case for using a Makita 14.4V, 6A lithium battery as a power source for an electric fishing reel.
The top of the case is reinforced with acrylic for added strength.
A short-circuit prevention cover made of acrylic has been added to the terminal area.

The battery mounting jig inside the case is fixed to the case lid, eliminating the need for complex cable routing and reducing the risk of wire breakage. It also makes attaching the battery easier.
A fuse box has been installed mid-cable for short-circuit protection.

A 10A fuse is included.
A 15A fuse is provided as a free spare.

Connect the reel-side alligator clips to the red (positive) and black (negative) marked terminals.

For transport, either carry the battery separately until you reach your fishing spot, or take precautions against short circuits if carrying the battery inside the case.

This case is compatible with genuine and aftermarket batteries of 6.0Ah (6000mAh) or less.

This case, along with the battery, weighs approximately 750g, making it convenient to carry. With a voltage of 14.4V to 16.8V (fully charged), it allows you to utilize the full performance of your electric reel!
The battery mounting jig is handmade from acrylic, replicating the attachment structure of Makita power tools. It securely holds the battery within the case, ensuring stable use even on a rocking boat.

The connection terminals have an inner radius of 30mm and a thickness of 5.5mm (stainless steel U-bolts), allowing for easy clamping with alligator clips.
