This is the incredibly rare and now hard-to-find 22cm Staub pot from Cousances.
The Staub pot is the original waterless pot. By placing cold water or ice in the indentations on the lid, the moisture inside the pot circulates more quickly, resulting in faster and more delicious cooking.
This pot is unused but has been in long-term storage. The original box is not included. We kindly ask that only those who understand its value, have checked the condition in the photos, and can accept it purchase this item.
For reference: Cousances was a historic French cast iron manufacturer founded in 1553. In 1957, it was absorbed and merged into Le Creuset.
It is said that the currently famous Le Creuset company inherited the technology and design of Cousances.
