KINTO Donabe Pot, White, 1.2L, Recommended for Direct Heat
15.18 $
Description
This is a KINTO donabe (earthenware pot).
It's a stylish donabe.
According to AI translation of the English text on the bottom of the pot, it states:
Suitable for use with 100V and 200V induction cooktops, direct flame, halogen heaters, ceramic heaters, microwaves, and ovens. / 1610
However, based on my actual experience, it seems best not to use it with induction cooktops. It took a considerable amount of time for water to boil. After using it on induction a few times, I later used it with a portable cassette stove. Please check the images for more details.
Currently, on the official website, donabe of a similar shape are sold for direct flame use, while separate models are sold for induction cooktops.
