Description
This is a large Karatsu-ware jar. Its charm lies in the texture of the clay and its rustic feel, possessing a presence unique to old household items.
[Approximate Dimensions]
- Height: 42cm
- Opening Diameter: 18cm
- Body Diameter: 30cm
It held water up to 90% capacity without leaking, but please be cautious with long-term use.
There is a chip on the rim, which we believe can be appreciated as a unique characteristic of old pottery. There are no major cracks or noticeable chips.
It can be widely used as a flower vase for ikebana with branches, a water basin, or a medaka (killifish) tank.
We also recommend it as an accent for your interior decor.
