This is the official academic gown (ceremonial robe) for the University of Tokyo School of Medicine.
Includes the gown, hood, cap, and patch (green).
Retail price: ¥52,800 (tax included), made by Mitsukoshi, for faculty graduates.
Can be used for formal occasions such as graduation ceremonies and degree conferment ceremonies.
Purchased new at the co-op in February 2025 and worn only once over a suit on March 25, 2025, for the graduation and degree conferment ceremony.
For a visual reference, I have included photos of it being worn. The wearer in the photos is 169cm tall.
It will be shipped in the original box it came in (with some tears and peeling, reinforced with tape - please check photos).
