Kadokura Sports Type Self-Propelled Wheelchair Green Foldable

Purchased new in July 2025.
The patient suffered a cervical spine injury and was told they would never walk again, but miraculously, they were able to stand on their own after six months, so we purchased this sports-type wheelchair. However, the backrest was too shallow and put a strain on the patient's cervical spine, so it was only used about 4-5 times at the hospital. It is in beautiful condition as it is no longer used. The user was a young woman and was kept clean, with no issues such as incontinence.

This is a sports-type wheelchair Evolution (Model J105) from the Japanese manufacturer KADOKURA.

It features a vibrant Verde Ithaca Green aluminum frame and stylish 3-spoke 24-inch wheels. The tires were overseas products, and we were concerned about difficulties with repairs in case of a flat, so at the suggestion of a bicycle shop, the tubes and tires have been replaced with new Japanese-made ones (see photos). This means they can be inflated with a standard bicycle pump.

It is exceptionally light compared to standard wheelchairs. Even a petite person should be able to propel it easily.
