This is a parasol made with Nishijin-ori (Nishijin woven fabric). We believe it will beautifully complement both kimonos and Western clothing.
It has been used very little, but there are scuffs on the tip of the handle from storage. Please check the 9th image.
The protective film on the handle has not been removed.

Product Description
This parasol is crafted from Nishijin-ori, a traditional Kyoto craft. A characteristic of Nishijin-ori is that the appearance of the pattern and the color changes depending on the angle of the light.
We have also paid close attention to the weave and color on the underside of the fabric, so you can enjoy the Nishijin-ori even when the parasol is open.
Our partner is Kaji Kinran, a company with a factory in Nishijin, Kyoto. They have challenged themselves to weave with cotton, which is unusual for Nishijin-ori.
Handcrafted Parasol
The production of the parasol was entrusted to Onochi Shoten, also based in Kyoto and founded in 1903. In their handcrafted umbrella making, meticulous attention is paid to the tension of the fabric, which is stretched with a delicate balance – not too loose, not too tight. This creates a beautiful curve and extends the life of the umbrella.
