Adam & Eve was born in 1968 from the creativity and enthusiasm of a young man in his late 20s, as a contemporary tableware line from Tachikichi, a long-established Kyoto pottery store.
The innovative, modern, and cutting-edge tableware created by Creative Director Toshio Tomita quickly swept the pottery market across Japan, becoming a sensation as a brand of the times and leading to the creation of many design products beyond just pottery.
The plates and bowls measure 16cm x 16cm, with a bowl depth of approximately 4.5cm.
