Description
Thank you for looking.
Arita ware, Tokukou kiln square incense burner (four-sided incense burner)
Size:
Width/Depth: Approx. 5 cm
Height: Approx. 9 cm (including lid)
The kiln mark of Tokukou kiln, Kakutoku, is on the bottom (see image 5).
As this is a long-term storage item, the exact usage history is unknown, but it appears to be almost unused. There are faint signs of use on the bottom of the feet (see image 5) and where the lid rests (see image 6).
It was in my home, but I didn't know how to use it, and I'm not knowledgeable about antiques or ceramics, so I decided to sell it.
Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about it being an antique or not new.
Shipping is covered by the seller.
It will be carefully packed and shipped anonymously.
Thank you.
