Great Blue Skimmer Specimen (Wing Rubbing)
10.00 $
Description
This is a specimen of the Great Blue Skimmer dragonfly collected in 2020.
As shown in the 4th photo, there are some scuffs on the wings.
The Great Blue Skimmer dragonfly, as its name suggests, is large among its genus and is a beautiful species with a prominent metallic green coloration.
The female's ovipositor is well-developed, allowing her to lay eggs on hard plants such as branches protruding from the water surface.
Personally, I feel that when I see this dragonfly, the dragonfly season is coming to an end.
*Please note that as this is a wild-collected specimen, there may be minor scuffs. Please examine the photos carefully before considering your purchase.
