I purchased this as a used item, so I was unsure of its release history, but I researched it for this listing.

It appears that orders were accepted during July 2002. This item is over 20 years old.

It seems that to purchase this item, one had to buy four items: the 00 Number Box 1, 2, and 3 figures from Bandai's Cyborg 009 figure series (3,278 yen each) and the Dolphin die-cast vehicle (3,850 yen), totaling 13,684 yen. After collecting the Super Gun purchase application tickets included with each of these items, one would qualify to purchase it by paying an additional 12,800 yen.

Due to this sales method, the number of units shipped was likely small.
