Mokeke are sold at souvenir shops all over Japan, and there are many regional limited editions. As a companion to these Mokeke, RIKEN's original Mokeke was born. It features embroidery on the collar resembling a lab coat, glasses, and a lightbulb (yellow ball) on its head symbolizing inspiration.
