Compared to maple, it has a clear, well-defined tone with excellent articulation, making it ideal for bass parts.
Although unconfirmed, there is information that Zen-on wooden recorders are manufactured by Takeyama Wind Instrument Company.
This is a direct-blowing type without a mouthpiece. It has a holder hole on the finger rest where a neck strap for instruments like saxophones or bassoons can be attached.
There are minor scratches and small dents, but the wood itself is in very beautiful condition. The condition of the pads is also fine.
The lacquer on the keys has peeled, and there is rust and verdigris.
Being made in Japan, it is of high quality, and the cherry wood used is of excellent quality, resulting in a wonderful tone.
