DESCRIPTION  This is an original vintage multi-page advertising brochure for the Bernz-O-Matic Indoor-Outdoor Ceramic Grille, published in 1957 by the Otto Bernz Co., Inc. of Rochester, New York. The brochure features vibrant mid-century illustrations demonstrating the grill's use in various settings including fireplaces, patios, and picnics. A significant highlight is the promotion of a free recipe book authored by legendary culinary figure James A. Beard, specifically designed for this propane-fueled ceramic grille. The interior pages detail the Miracle of Modern Convenience provided by disposable propane cylinders and showcase two portable models, the TX-1500 and TX-1700. This piece is an excellent example of late 1950s suburban lifestyle marketing and early gas grilling history.  SIZE  The brochure measures approximately 8.5 inches by 5.5 inches when closed.  CONDITION  The item is in very good vintage condition with bright, crisp colors and a clean spine. There is very light shelf wear along the edges and minimal toning to the paper consistent with its age. All pages are intact with no writing, clips, or major creases.
