Antique Haviland Limoges Pitcher Aesthetic Movement Butterfly Floral 1880s Jug

Presenting a stunning antique French fine china pitcher by Haviland & Co. Limoges, dating back to the 1880s. This remarkable piece is a beautiful example of Aesthetic Movement design, featuring a gorgeous asymmetrical floral motif and a striking, highly detailed butterfly resting near the neck.  The pitcher is crafted with a pale, elegant glaze that beautifully offsets the earthy browns, muted golds, and deep reds of the transfer and hand-painted details. It is clearly marked on the base with the blue Haviland & Co. Limoges double circle mark and the black underlined H&C mark, confirming its late 19th-century origins.  Features: Maker: Haviland & Co.
