This is a new, unused woven Nagoya obi.
The material is unknown. It is highly likely not silk (it might be polyester. It's probably synthetic fiber.)
It has a Karakori-style woven pattern and a substantial feel. I think it would look great with komon, iro-muji, or even tsumugi iro-muji. It would also be nice to pair with washable kimonos, especially on rainy days. What do you think?
